The Jaguar Powertrain Warranty comes standard with every new vehicle purchased in the United States or Puerto Rico. This limited coverage covers most of the sealed components within the drivetrain, transmission, transaxle and engine. However only lasts for up to 5 years or 50,000 miles whichever comes first. Make sure you are protected beyond your Jaguar factory warranty coverage by extending coverage with an Jaguar extended warranty.

What is Covered under Jaguar Powertrain Warranty

If while under the Jaguar limited warranty period 1) your vehicle is properly maintained, and 2) was taken to an authorized Jaguar dealership for repairs then Jaguar will authorize its dealers to repair, replace, or adjust all parts on your vehicle that malfunction or fail during normal use due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. Jaguar 's New Vehicle Limited Powertrain Warranty will remedy any such defects that result in vehicle part malfunction or failure during the Jaguar warranty period.*

Jaguar Engine Warranty: all internal lubricated parts, cylinder block, cylinder heads, electrical fuel pump, electronic engine control unit, engine mounts, flywheel, injection pump, manifold (exhaust and intake), manifold bolts, oil pan, oil pump, seals and gaskets, thermostat, thermostat housing, timing chain cover, timing chain (gears or belt), turbocharger/supercharger unit, valve covers, water pump;

Jaguar Transmission Warranty: all internal parts, clutch cover, seals and gaskets, torque converter, transfer case (including all internal parts), transmission case, transmission mounts; Front-Wheel Drive: axle shafts, bearings (front and rear), center support bearing, drive shafts, final drive housing (including all internal parts), hubs-automatic front locking (four-wheel drive), locking rings (four-wheel drive), seals and gaskets, universal and constant velocity joints; Rear-Wheel Drive: axle shafts, bearings (front and rear), center support bearing, drive axle housing (including all internal parts), drive shaft, propeller shafts, retainers, supports, seals and gaskets, universal and constant velocity joints.

What is Not Covered under Jaguar Powertrain Warranty

Damage Caused By:

• accidents, collision or objects striking the vehicle (including driving through a car wash)
• theft, vandalism, or riot
• fire or explosion
• using contaminated or improper fuel/fluids
• customer-applied chemicals or accidental spills
• driving through water deep enough to cause water to be ingested into the engine
• misuse of the vehicle, such a driving over curbs, overloading, racing or using the vehicle as a permanent stationary power source
• alteration or modification (ex. lift kits, alarm or radio systems, software/chip enhancements, etc)
• use and/or the environment (ex. dings, dents, road salt, etc)
• maintenance or "wear and tear" (ex. oil changes, brake pads, etc)
• grey market, odometer tampered, or commercial vehicles
